Andrew Bybee, Principal GPM Microsoft, noted that Trusted Application API (not final name) will be  "very soon". The  Preview, which will include messaging and calling, will be available early 2017.

  1. HI Matt, thanks for this - was support for presence mentioned in the discussion around trusted application API at all? For example being able to update user presence with mobile line state.

    1. I don't remember presence being explicitly noted, but all skype4b call centers today use presence so I think it would be fair to deduce it will be included. Another reason I think it is, is because the Office 365 Call Queues use presence and are built on top of Trusted Application API (name for now).

    2. Trusted Application SDK (Preview 2017)slated to include: /startMessaging, /startAudioVideo, /joinOnlineMeeting, /AcceptAudioVideo. No presence changing in that list explicitly. from BRK4013
